We would love to be on your birth team.

Whether you’re planning a home birth or a hospital birth, medicated or unmedicated, we can help you achieve your childbirth goals.

Birth Support

We will tailor our birth support to meet your needs. We look forward to getting to know you and your unique desires for childbirth during our prenatal meetings. Based on your needs, we can talk about what to expect during labor and delivery, develop your birth plan, talk through options for pain management (both medical and non-medical), and discuss any specific concerns or worries you have. We can also help partners become more involved and provide them with support and encouragement.

During active labor through delivery, we are there providing hands on physical and emotional support. We aim to facilitate your birth vision, including comfort measures, movement, different laboring positions, aromatherapy, music, respectful observation of cultural or religious practices, or anything else that feels supportive to you. We advocate for your birth preferences and can facilitate communication with healthcare providers to ensure that you have enough information to make informed decisions about your care.

Finally, we provide a postpartum follow-up visit in the comfort of your home to help ensure a smooth transition to parenthood.

When you book birth support with our team, you also get free access to our online newborn care course Newborn Care: An Essential Guide for Parents

We also offer extended postpartum support that can be added on to our birth support.

Birth support ranges from $800-$1,800.

Why hire a birth Doula?

Research has consistently shown that birth doula support can have significant benefits for mothers and their babies. Studies indicate that support from a Doula during labor can reduce the likelihood of undesired c-sections, the need for pain medication, and even the length of labor, among other positive benefits.
